He is proficient in performing advanced 3D Laparoscopic Video Assisted Surgeries such as Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Esophagectomy, Laparoscopic Colorectal Cancer Surgery and Bariatric Surgery.

He usually carries out 250 Gastrointestinal Surgeries in a month and has established himself as one of the leading Pancreatic Surgeons in the country.

After graduating with MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, under Aligarh Muslim University, in 2000, he pursued MS in General Surgery in the same college in 2004. Thereafter, he did DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology under National Board of Examination, New Delhi, in 2009. He also did MNAMS from National Academy of Medical Sciences in 2017 and undertook training in Robotic Surgery in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi in 2017.
