Dr. Hirak Pahari has +10 years of experience as a Liver Transplant Surgeon in the field of transplantation surgery.

He is endorsed by the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.

He did his MBBS in 2008 from Kasturba Medical College Manipal, Manipal. In 2009, Dr. Pahari completed his DNB (general surgery) at Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences, Kolkata. He also has done an MD. Later, at the Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital he completed a Liver Transplant and Liver Surgery fellowship, followed by another at the Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon.

He also has fellowships in Minimally Access Surgery and of the Indian Association of the Gastrointestinal Surgeons.

Dr. Pahari is trained and certified by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons at the Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan.

He has been awarded honours at several international meets. Dr. Pahari has presented at various international conferences and is a well-known reviewer of various journals.

Dr. Pahari is an expert at liver transplants, both live and deceased, hernia, abdominal, liver and hepatobiliary surgeries. His area of interest is intestinal and multivisceral transplantation.

He has co-authored several papers in the field of transplantation surgery.
