Dr. Malathi Sathiyasekaran is a paediatric gastroenterologist with 30+ years of experience.

She has vast experience in teaching of more than 25 years.

She won Outstanding Achievement Award on International Women’s Day by The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, 2012, St John’s Ambulance Best Doctor Award by Governor of Tamil Nadu, 2010 and Excellence in Service on International Women’s Day by Board for Women’s Concerns, CSI Diocese of Madras, 2008.

She has contributed to various national and international publications.

She completed MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, Diploma in child health from Christian Medical College, Vellore, MD in Pediatrics from Madras Medical College, Chennai and DM in Gastroenterology from Madras Medical College, Chennai.

Dr. Malathi is a member of Indian Society of Gastroenterology and Indian Society Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

Her areas of expertise include Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Liver Biopsy and Video capsule endoscopy.
