He specialises in renal transplantation, laparoscopic urology, endourology, and robotic-assisted surgeries.

His expertise extends to performing Radical Prostatectomy, Radical Cystectomy, Prostate Resection Surgery, Open Prostatectomy, Nephrectomy (Kidney Removal), and Neurourology.

Dr. Muruganandham completed his MBBS from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (TNMGRMU) in 1999, an MS in General Surgery from JIPMER, Pondicherry, in 2005, and an MCh in Urology from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow in 2009.

Additionally, he completed a Fellowship in Urological Oncology from the Institute of Urology, London.
