Dr. Subrat Kumar Acharya is a renowned Gastroenterologist and liver transplant with 32 years of experience.

His areas of expertise include acute and chronic liver failure, primary liver cancer, viral hepatitis, and all aspects of gastroenterology and liver disease, including transplant hepatology.

He completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College in 1992 and an MS in ENT from Safdarjung Hospital in 1997.

He has been honoured with several prestigious awards, including the Padma Shree in 2014, the Samanta Chandrasekhar and JC Bose Awards, the Mitra Olympus Endoscopy Award, the P N Berry Award, and the Best Young Investigator Award by the Asia-Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver.

Dr. Acharya has been recognized for his contributions, receiving a silver medal for his paper in 2000 and the I.S. Gupta Award at the XIVth All Rhinology Conference in 2001.
