Dr. Shivashankar is a senior consultant in the department of Urology, having an experience of nearly 33 years.
He has performed more than 2000 kidney transplants and over 4000 other renal surgeries so far.
Other than this, he has performed more than 7000 ureteroscopic procedures for ureteric stones and other conditions.
He holds an expertise in procedures like prostate laser surgery, open prostatectomy, TUIP, TURP, cystoscopy, Lithotripsy, kidney stone treatment, ureteroscopy, etc.
Dr. Shivashankar completed his MBBS from University of Mysore in 1987 and MS from Stanley Medical College in 1983.
He also continued to do Mch in Urology from Madras Medical College Chennai in 1986.
He is a member of Karnataka Medical Council.
