Dr. Surendran R is a leading Surgical Gastroenterologist in Chennai with 48 years of expertise in gastrointestinal surgical interventions.

He is a top specialist for colon cancer surgery in Chennai and holds expertise in hepatobiliary procedures, pancreatic surgery and solid organ transplantation.

Dr. Surendran did his MBBS in 1976 and MS in General Surgery in 1979 from Stanley Medical College & Hospital, Chennai.

Later, in 1990, he earned an MCh in surgical gastroenterology and a D. Sc (Hon) from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. University.
