Dr Swarup Swaraj Pal is a Consultant Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon in the Dept of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital, Powai, Mumbai.

He completed his MS Gen Surgery and M.Ch CVTS from the prestigious Seth G S Medical College and KEM hospital, Mumbai.

During this phase, he trained in adult and pediatric congenital cardiac surgeries under Prof Dr A M Patwardhan.

He was adept at handling the myriad vascular and cardiac emergencies at KEMH, Tata memorial hospital and Wadia Pediatric Hospital during that period.

Dr. Swarup has also trained in complex congenital surgeries with Dr SmritiRanjanMohanty and Dr Neville Solomon.

Thereafter he worked as a Lecturer in CVTS at KEMH and Nair hospital and sharpened his clinical skills further.

He had a keen interest in lung surgeries and actively pursued VATS.

The doctor also did vascular repairs, embolectomies and peripheral bypass grafts for PVDs and AV fistula creations in CKD patients.

His quest for recent advances and the use of modern technology took him to Apollo Hospital [main], Chennai.
