He is the Chairman of the Kerala Orthopedic Association.

Dr. Mohan S is a graduate of the Government Medical College, Trivandrum. He then did his D. Ortho and is a Diplomate of National Board qualification holder from Medical College, Trivandrum. He even completed his Fellowship in Arthroplasty from AIMS, Kochi.

He has acquired advanced training in orthopedics from Arthrolab Munich, The European Center for Knee Research, Belgium, ZNA Middleheim, Antwerp, Heilih Hart Hospital, Lier, Chulalongkorn University Hospital, Bangkok and Ameos Klinicum Halberstedt, Germany.
